Privacy Policy
If you use the interest form, we receive your name, email, phone, and what you tell us about the trip. If we send the Design Profile, we receive what you write there. If we book, we ask for passport details and the names as they appear there. Do not send passport numbers through the form on this website. We will ask for them when we are booking.
We use this information to answer you, to see if we are a fit, to plan and book the trip, and to stay in touch until you are home. We do not sell your information.
A hotel, a cruise line, an airline, or another supplier sees what is needed to hold the booking. Our invoicing service sees the invoice. We do not store your full card number. The person who hosts the website may see ordinary logs. On a luxury trip, the in-country partners we introduce see what they need to look after you on the ground. These parties use the information to do that work.
This site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace analytics may record an IP address and general location. Squarespace holds the security certificate for the site. Their security notes are at squarespace.com/security.
We keep the file for the life of the trip and for a reasonable time after, for the booking record and in case you travel with us again. You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an inquiry we did not book. Email olivia@hiddenalleys.com. A passport detail already sent to a supplier has to be corrected with that supplier as well.
We do not plan travel for a child without a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child on this site.
If we believe your information has been exposed, we will write to you.
Terms & Conditions
You work with Olivia Edwards and Nate Edwards, independent advisors affiliated with Outside Agents. Seller of travel registrations on this site are those of the host: Florida ST15578 and California CST 2090937-50. We are not the hotel, the resort, the cruise line, the airline, or the wedding coordinator.
A conversation, the Design Profile, and the How We Work guide do not hire us. Work begins when the Design Investment is paid. That payment is made to the studio. It covers the planning in the package you accepted. It is not a deposit on travel, and it is not refundable once the proposal has been started, unless we are unable to begin. Hours or changes past the package are agreed in writing before we do them.
Hotels, ships, and transportation are paid separately, on your authorization, and we apply that payment to the supplier. The supplier’s terms govern deposits, changes, and cancellations. We give you those terms before you book. We do not control the supplier’s decision, a weather delay, or a government rule.
We do not itemize proposals. Many partners do not release line-by-line rates. You will see what is included, and the total. If the total needs to come down, we change the plan with you. Prices can move until the booking is made. We book from a written acceptance, not from a spoken yes. If the price has moved, we tell you before we book. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am to 6pm Eastern and Friday 11:30 to 3pm Eastern. An authorization after hours waits until we reopen.
A flight booking, if you ask us to make it, is $50.
We recommend travel insurance on every trip and can quote a policy. We are not the insurer. A decline is asked for in writing.
For a wedding, we handle the travel. The resort coordinator, or a coordinator you choose and hire, plans the events. If you want a legal ceremony in that country, we can tell you the usual requirements and the timing. We are not your lawyer.
You are responsible for passports, visas, and entry rules. We book the names as they appear on the passport.
Email is answered Monday through Thursday, 10am to 6pm and Friday 11:30am to 3pm Eastern. On a luxury trip, the in-country partners we introduce are who you write to if something needs attention on the ground.
